Charlton Ndlovu also known by the name of DJ Charl is a young talented producer who does Afro House music. Based in South Africa, Johannesburg. “Wake Up” features vocals from the bushmen in West Africa which has been married with House music elements to give the bump and groove on all dance floors across the world.
Wake Up is supported by three other remixes from Beebar, Eddhi Cheq and DJ Charl’s group Nurogroove.
A little about Thulasizwe “Lastee” Dlamini and his journey…
Born and bred in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa in a family that loved and respected soulful music, which Lastee adopted it in his early years, when he finished high school, he had to do something with that particular lesson. In January 2007 he found a job, bought his first computer in September 2007. Teaching himself how to produce music and sing on his own beats…and thats when the music journey started.
He is also apart of “Select Play Music” which was formed in 2012 with Tellaman (Soul Candi)
Lastee has worked with a lot of internationals like D-Malice, Pascal Morais, Djeff, Jonny Miller to name a few and local guys like Zakwe, Cuebur, Mindlo & Essential I, DJ Kanunu, Beast, and Duncan in a song that features AKA, Professor, and Mampintsha
This single is features 3 versatile remixes, the first one which is a collaboration with South Africa’s Cuebur and UK’s D-Malice. Their remix has been gaining support from Black Coffee, YFM to name a few.
N’Dinga Gaba and Maurice Carroll give the track a more Soulful flavour with a floor filler beat and smooth Piano.
The final remix comes from Atjazz Record Company’s DJ Tipz. Tipz is a producer to watch out for, his remix of Pretty Girl is most definitely one for the “heads” as he gives the original a deep/afro touch!

Jonny Miller: After twenty four years of being immersed in electronic music, Jonny Miller’s daily life is as varied as his record collection. A producer, remixer, production engineer, broadcaster, label owner and even a music production tutor, he’s teaching the next generation of music makers how to do it right. His musical journey throughout the years has taken him through bass music, all forms of house, disco and broken beat but its the deep, afrohouse groove where you’ll find him today. His productions in 2014 alone have featured on leading deep house labels such as Tribe Records, Soul Candi and The Atjazz Record Co.
D-Malice: This guy is an exceptional talent and ambassador of the ever evolving world of dance music. Indian at his roots this man has also mastered the art of many other world music elements with African, Afro Cuban and Latin percussion programming backing up his strong centred deep and soulful sound.
UK based DJ/Producer ‘Raj’ began spinning records from the tender age of 13, heavily influenced by ‘Old School Garage’ but not restricted to one genre, he has also dabbled in Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Motown and many other genres of the world and landing firmly on his feet finding his passion for House Music.
“Glory” a spoken worded creation by J Maloe featuring the very talented Sphelele. This EP contains 3 tracks two mixes from Jeff him self and a deeper vibe from Italy based producer Fromwood.
